The one that literally got away, this illustration was drawn to back up a suggestion I made to the writer of my most recent labour.
The idea behind it was to slightly deviate from the text and give a new dimension to the mentioned lion. The writer liked it, but other aspects of the story would have to change, so this remained a suggestion. Oh well, can't win them all

Oh she wanted to, but then the story would have two climax points instead of one and there was no apparent reason for that; after all this is a children's book story and not an adventure film. Thanks for the encouragement though
