This is a sketch of Tevye, the main character in Sholem Aleichem's ‘Tevye the Dairyman', the story on which the musical 'Fiddler on the Roof' was based.
I watched the greek version of the musical last Friday. Guess I still had it on my mind Saturday morning when I went to the beach. So there you have it: A little bit of ink, a little bit of Photoshop and a dash of sea salt.
P.S. A deliberate attempt was made to draw Tevye with Chaim Topol’s characteristics –a small homage to the actor who has played the character both on stage and screen.
