Optimism
The thing about not updating one's journal frequently is that when one finally decides to sit down and write, the subjects seem endless.
In nearly half a year since my last entry a lot has happened; fires, scandals, economy collapsing, elections, terrorist attacks, riots, missile attacks --and that's just what made the headlines, and all great excuses to write an entry, let me assure you.
Personally, 2008 has been a year of decisions. Not all have been easy, but I'm learning that making a choice is certainly better to being forever reluctant.
So I'm really looking forward to 2009, for I'll be seeing the first outcomes of these decisions --provided of course that the world won't be falling apart.
