…or to be more precise, it's been raining non-stop all day and I just returned from a short walk with a very demanding (and persuasive) dog and we are both very wet and paradoxically happy. What better time to start a journal?

To be honest I had decided a long time ago that the best time to start a journal would be about a hundred hits from now –a nice way to celebrate my first thousand with thanks and wishes.

Why wait? Currently in the aftermath of a very stressful and unexplainably long period of working (actually it feels more like being in the centre of a cyclone –I'm about to enter another very similar period, hopefully shorter), I do what I enjoy most in my work; research and doodling. It was due to research reasons (rrright) that I sat in front of the TV earlier today.

Due to special circumstances (the Greeks reading this should know what I'm referring to) there was an old performance of Cirque du Soleil on. It was filmed almost a decade ago, but it was as if time never touched it, so vibrant and inspirational, that made me go looking for a pen and a piece of paper.

Strolling around the galleries of DA often has the same effect on me, and it's something I hadn't felt since my university days; to be among creative people who know what it feels like to stare through a blank piece of paper, or a camera lens for that matter, and try to capture a glimpse of imagination.

Thank you all for being out here and thank you for interacting.

See you around!

As I'm carried around by a decent-sized border-colie for about half an hour on a daily basis , I'll try not to take your advice seriously, especially now that it's slippery. Thanks for the wishing though! ;P

The Dog is priceless and why buy and umbrella when you can wait for a protective force-field generator? ;P
